WHAT EXACTLY IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms. Escape rooms are inspired by "escape-the-room" style video games. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons and space stations, and are popular as team building exercises.
WILL I BE PLAYING WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
For the safety of our guests, and to keep everyone healthy, all bookings are now private. Only your group will be in the game.
ARE YOU REALLY LOCKED IN THE ROOM?
Yes and No! while our games are technically locked, every door has an emergency exit button or device next to it that you can push to be let out for any reason.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE PARTIES AND CORPORATE EVENTS
Yes, we accommodate large parties and corporate groups frequently, and rooms can be reserved at EscapeUflorida.com/booking. If you would like help booking your large group event or would like to rent out our facility at a premium, please email us at B.Buzard@EscapeUflorida.com to receive a custom quote.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
No, our games have been enjoyed by a variety of ages and capabilities. Each age group enjoys the game differently which is part of the magic of Escape Games. Please give us a call at 904-687-0022 if you would like suggestions on which games would be best for certain age groups.
DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
While walk-ins are always welcome, the availability of our escape games is constantly changing. We highly suggest booking in advanced at www.escapeuflorida.com/booking
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
All of our games are non-refundable. However, you can always reschedule your game if you contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
IS THERE ANYTHING WE SHOULD BRING?
No, everything you need to play the game is provided for you. We suggest comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. However, jeans, heels, dresses, flip flops etc are acceptable.
ARE YOUR GAMES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Absolutely! Our entire facility meets ADA guidelines.
